When I think of wanting to travel within the United States, my wish list always starts with our our U.S. National Parks. You can keep your crowded hot beaches and amusement parks. I do like visiting a cosmopolitan city like New York or San Francisco. I also enjoy stopping in any mountain town, especially if I can align with with a local festival. But, when I think of really wanting to go somewhere really amazing within the United States, the list is simple
and can be found here --> NPS.gov
I want to go see the majesty that Mother Nature has created and 64 US National Parks are in place just for that reason. To be candid, I've only been to 12 of them, so I have a lot of exploring to do. If there are no National Parks nearby, state parks also offer some amazing experiences.
In the summer of 2022, I visited four parks for the first time - Grand Tetons and Yellowstone (in Wyoming) and Olympic and Mt. Rainier (in Washington). The next few blogs will provide highlights of those visits.
Until next time..
Cindy
